There’s No Adult in the Room
Midnight November 7th 2020, The District.
Nobody knows what to do. In a word, nuthouse. Look for a job? Call the moving company? Fight it out? Everyone is walking on tiptoes trying not to tell the old man it’s over. It is over though. If the fat lady ain’t singing yet, she’s getting ready. And speaking of big women, how about every liberal minded motherFer in the country send Stacy Abrams some cookies for Christmas. All this talk that the left did so bad, they didn’t gain in the senate, lost in the house, it’s hogwash. Georgia went blue! And when that game plan is replicated, these old dudes will finally be finished. The Good Old Boys are scared!
Speaking of finished, so the old man is on edge, and then everyone got hit with the curveball! Well, actually a strike right down the middle that they put their head into. For real! They caught it a SECOND TIME! The head of the press has it now! Perhaps it just looped around and this is the same strain just circulating around like STDs used to do in American factories in the 80s. But don’t worry everyone is taking precaution now! (in the words of the late, great Borat, NOT!) These guys are playing Russian Roulette with the virus just waiting to see who croaks. So while I have access, who knows if I will even go back into that area. I’ve already been warned by three people that the donuts are stale and the coffee costs a buck. Yep, even free coffee is a buck in the old man’s white house. Unless your Faux, they got their own wing here that I don’t have access too. Not a single mask is worn though. Not a one.
And that’s how the next four years would go under Trump. We’d be in masks the entire time, and sure, I hear you Republicans in my great state of Kentucky, last in education, you are living your life! You are going out to Walmart, and the redneck bar, BUT some of us want to go to concerts, and festivals, and sporting events. It’s the flu, but I can’t even go see my Uncle in the nursing home. Did we do that for the flu? Y’all just keep doing you tho.
So despite 230k Americans dead, there is no plan, no testing. No national contract tracing which just sounds like something the American government could be putting together to create jobs for all these unemployed people.
It’s over though. And the old man knows it. Look, if the old dude has anything it’s gut feeling. The old man doesn’t read books, he reads people and situations. He knows when someone is lying because he is lying and he knows what they would do because that’s what he would do. But the lies are easy for the old man, and this is the truth. He got beat by Sleepy Joe. The old man knows his presidency is hanging in the balance. He has two options.
He can show the country right now how much he loves it, by calling for an end to the madness or he can keep it going. Muck it up and tear it down! And look he has the support, 60 million just went out of their busy freaking day to vote for him. Most in person, which is absurd during a pandemic. So they are willing to risk it for this guy. So of course meat eating Americans want their pick to win the game. It’s important to them just like it is to you.
So what’s the old man going to do? Right now it really depends on who he listens to. America’s fallen mayor Julie Awning will do anything to win. And we just saw that as he did 2 weeks of the Hunter laptop BS without breaking stride. Seriously, where is the FCC? Faux was doing nightly coverage for two weeks on this and then, magically, after the emails were lost in the snail mail (sure thing) that was purposely slowed down for the ballots, it disappeared. Yep, the whole laptop ordeal was gone like a Stephen King fart in the wind.
So he has Julie Awning and he has the Lohan Fella who just became the ass-kisser-in-chief by donating all that money he just won by asking for it on Faux. 500k to the legal team. And where is the Turtle? My own state re-elected him for the 197th time. (once again last in education) Wasn’t the turtle holding the whip of the senate during the Civil War? He isn’t going to say a word. He’s too busy with Monty Burns trying to figure out how to screw us once this is over.
Putting it in lay man’s term, the good old boys don’t have an adult in the room! The old man is the only adult. He only listens to him.
It won’t matter to the old man though. He wants to burn it all down, and he has the conspirators willing and ready. Standing back and standing by.
Let me tell you how this works, authoritarians don’t give up power. They cement it.
